Dutch media has reported that 4% of ticketholders for Eurovision 2021 have asked for a refund of their tickets.
The first of two refund windows closed today after being open since May 25. In that period, only 4% of ticketholders requested a refund. A spokeperson for Eurovision stated:
“We have received a few more requests in recent days. The largest group would like to keep them for next year and we are happy with this confidence.”
A second refund window will be opened once the dates for Eurovision 2021 have been finalised. All tickets that were purchsed for Eurovision 2020 will remain valid for the 2021 contest unless the ticketholder decides to ask for a refund. The contest is expected to take place in either the second or third week of May 2021.
