Vasil has revealed how his song “You” would have been presented on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Speaking on MRT to Aleksandra Jovanovska yesterday evening, Vasil revealed some details on how his song “You” would have been presented on stage. Vasil explained that:
“The only thing I feel most sorry about is that YOU did not get the chance to be presented on the stage in its real light. Except for the fact that we had brilliant team from Sweden, Tine Matulessy and Mari Forsman Ryberger, the same ladies that took care of Tamara’s performance last year at the contest in Tel Aviv, I would have been joined on stage by 4 amazing backing singers with whom the ethnic vibe of YOU would come to its fullest potential”
Joining Vasil on stage would have been Martija Stanojkovic (Junior Eurovision 2016), Barbara Popovic (Junior Eurovision 2013), Aleksandra Janeva (Backing singer for Tamara, Eurovision 2019) and Lina Pejovska.
Macedonian Radio Television is building up to Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light by broadcasting all episodes of the Eurovision Home Concerts during prime-time. The broadcaster will air Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light live, commentator of the show will be Aleksandra Jovanovska, who has working as the Eurovision Head of Press for Macedonia since 2013.
