The twenty five acts that will be competing in Sveriges:12a have been revealed following a week of app voting.
Following Inför ESC on Saturday evening, the twenty five acts competing in Sveriges 12:a on Thursday evening have been revealed. The twenty five acts were selected entirely by app voting by the Swedish public. The finalists and running order is as follows:
- United Kingdom
- The Netherlands
For Sveriges 12:a the winner will be determined by 50% app voting and 50% jury voting. Each juror will be able to award 1 to 7, 8, 10 and 12 points. The winner will be the act that receives the highest number of points. On the jury are:
- Charlotte Perrelli
- Eric Saade
- Frederik Kempe
- Lina Hedlund
Sveriges 12:a (Sweden’s 12 points) takes place on May 14, with the twenty-five songs broadcast. The show will see The Mamas who were due to represent Sweden at Eurovision 2020 perform the song “Move”, while clips from Eurovision’s past will also be shown.

Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has gone on to be one of the contest’s most successful countries. The country has won the contest six times, the most recent being in 2015. Sweden’s first victory came in 1974 when ABBA won the contest in Brighton with “Waterloo”. Since missing out on the final in 2010, Sweden has gone on to finish 3rd twice and has won the contest twice, only in 2013 did the country place outside of the top 10 in the final.
