Go_A have confirmed that they will be working on five potential songs to represent Ukraine with at Eurovision 2021.
Speaking to 1+1, the lead singer of Go_A Kateryna Pavlenko has confirmed that the group will be working on a number of potential songs for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. She confirmed in the interview with the Ukrainian channel that the group plans to have five songs ready to represent Ukraine with.
Initially, I was upset (that the song Solovey will be heard at Eurovision), I did not think that we would need a completely new composition. […] We received a lot of comments in which fans wanted our next song. We’ve decided that in that case we will prepare five of which the listeners will choose one.
Neither UA:PBC or STB have announced any details regarding the Ukrainian selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest. UA:PBC has to date confirmed that Go_A will be the Ukrainian representatives in 2021, having won the nations 2020 selection process.
Eurovision Young Musicians has been held bi-annually since 1982. The contest was based on the format of The BBC Young Musician of the Year in the United Kingdom. Performers in the contest must be aged under 18 years and are selected by their participating broadcaster. Each performer performs a piece of classical music of their choice accompanied by the local orchestra. The winner is decided by a jury made up of classical music experts and talents.
