The first scores are in, as the Albanian, Bulgarian and Bosnian juries kicks off the reveal of the Eurojury 2019 results. As ever 50% of the vote is being decided by national juries and 50% by you, the public.
Each voting nation is represented by a jury consisting of past Eurovision, Junior Eurovision, national final participants and special guests. Each juror is asked to form a ranking of their favourite competing songs which is combined with the other jurors in their country.
The points of each jury are shown in a graphic below. The top ten is listed in alphabetical order, with the nations that received 8, 10 or 12 points in bold. The full points will be revealed during the Eurojury broadcasts.
On the Albanian jury are Anjeza Shahini, Ledina Celo, Hersi Matmuja, Dilan Reka, Mishela Rapo and Sara Bajraktari.
- Anjeza Shahini was the first Albanian Eurovision participant, having competed at the contest in 2004.
- Ledina Celo represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005.
- Hersi Matmuja represented Albania at Eurovision in 2014.
- Dilan Reka took part in Albania’s national selection FiK editions 54 and 55.
- Mishela Rapo represented Albania at Junior Eurovision in 2015.
- Sara Bajraktari competed in Albania’s national selection FiK edition 58.
On the Bulgarian jury are Zhana Berhendorff, Georgi Simeonov (JJ) and Hassan & Ibrahim.
- Zhana and Georgi are members of Equinox who represented Bulgaria in 2018.
- Hassan & Ibrahim represented Bulgaria at Junior Eurovision 2014.
On the Bosnian jury are Dalal Midhat and Fazla.
- Dalal Midhat represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016.
- Fazla is the first-ever representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, having competed in 1993.
Three more results will be revealed each day until April 26th, the day before semi-final one of Eurojury 2020.
About Eurojury 2020
Eurojury will return in 2020 for the eighth broadcast of the most accurate simulation of Eurovision results. 180 Eurovision winners, past participants, national finalists and a handful of special guests are due to take part in this year’s edition, which will be broadcast live on Showcase, by Eurovoix on May 1st.
For the past two years, Eurojury has correctly identified the winner of Eurovision with both Netta and Duncan Laurence topping the overall leaderboard in Eurojury and the Eurovision Song Contest itself. Eurojury also correctly identified four out of the top five acts in the final in Tel Aviv.
For a fifth consecutive year, Rob Lilley will present the coverage. This will be the third time he has been the sole presenter following two editions with a co-host – 2016 with Karl William Lund and in 2019 with Alice Chapman.
Directing the show once again will be Samuel Deakin – he has conducted this role on every edition of Eurojury. Heading up the production will be James Rowe after he co-produced the broadcast in 2019.
