Public broadcasters ERR and SRF have both confirmed that they will be broadcasting Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light to audiences.
ERR the Estonian public broadcaster and SRF of Switzerland have both stated that they will be broadcasting Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light to audiences. Neither SRF or ERR have stated the channel that they show will be broadcast on.
Karmel Killandi, Editor-in-Chief of ERR Entertainment stated that:
We are determined to work with the EBU and will be broadcasting a special program they are offering.
ERR is looking into additional Eurovision content that can be broadcast during what would have been the week of the contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light will be broadcast live across Europe on May 16 hosted by Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley and Jan Smit. The show will pay tribute to the forty one acts who had been due to compete in Eurovision 2020 and feature past Eurovision participants. The show will also look at the people of Europe affected by the coronavirus and aid workers who are fighting this crisis.
