Four more acts have been announced as participating in PrePartyES at Home on April 11.
Eight acts are now confirmed as participating in PrePartyES at Home which will take place on April 11. PrePartyESC at Home will feature acts who were due to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 performing from home as part of an online concert which will be broadcast on YouTube.
The latest acts confirmed as participating are:
- Bulgaria – Victoria
- Czech Republic – Benny Cristo
- Romania – Roxen
- Sweden – The Mamas
They join the previously announced:
- Ireland – Lesley Roy
- Latvia – Samanta Tina
- Lithuania – The Roop
- North Macedonia – Vasil
More acts will be announced in the coming days as Eurovision Spain pays tribute to all of the acts that were due to compete in the now cancelled Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since. Spain has won the contest on two occasions the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Since 2000 Spain has only managed to finish in the top 10 on five occasions, the last time being in 2014 with Ruth Lorenzo. However, the country has finished 20th or below on ten occasions, the worst placement being 26th in 2017.
