Upon being assigned one of the roles, Roos said:
I am really looking forward to the international character of the song festival. The musicians and journalists come from all over the world and I think it’s fantastic that I can be there as a Dutch person. Earlier I presented the press conferences on the arrival of Duncan at Schiphol and the announcement of host city Rotterdam. I think for working with Andrew as an extra gift. We’re ready for it!
The Eurovision Song Contest is a beautiful, connecting event where music is central. I am particularly interested in the diversity of musical styles that we can expect and to approach the festival from this angle.
The 87 press conferences will include one for each of the 41 competing delegations as well as with the qualifiers of each semi final and the winner following the grand final. The press conferences following the semi finals and final will be available to view on the Eurovision YouTube channel.
