The Head of TVP has hinted that Poland will be confirmed as the host country for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020.
The Head of the Polish broadcaster TVP, Jacek Kurski, has commented on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest during last nights final of The Voice Kids Poland. Mr Kurski said to the audience that:
The victory of Roksana Węgiel gave us a boost and such power to fight for the organization of Eurovision. We made it in Gliwice. […] Do you want Poland to be the organizer of Eurovision Junior once again? Then I’m getting to work! And you listen to the news of Polish Television over the next few days.
Marcin Maciejczak won the final of The Voice Kids and is now the favourite to represent Poland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Poland has been represented by past winners of The Voice Kids and participants from the show for the past three years.
Dziennik Eurowizyjny casts caution on the words of Jacek Kurski pointing out that Anica Dąbrowska, the winner of The Voice Kids last year, was promised she would represent Poland, but then did not take part in the Polish selection.

Host country: Well, say hello to a new milestone, as long as people won’t wish death on Junior Eurovision.
Fan favorite: That’d be cool if Poland sent a boy for a change. Don’t worry, I have nothing against girls at JESC, regardless of country.
