Eight talented musicians have been selected to compete in the final of the Slovenian selection for Eurovision Young Musicians 2020.
Following two days of Semi-Finals eight young musicians have been chosen to progress to the final of the Slovenian selection process. A total of twenty-three musicians appeared in front of a jury formed of:
- Maja Kojc – Chair of the Jury
- Gorjan Košuta
- Simon Dvoršak
- Daniel Leskovic
They selected to compete in the final:
- Neja Anderle – Saxophone
- Sebastijan Buda – Horn
- Zarja Javh Dobernik – Harp
- Tim Jurkovič – Guitar
- Marko Matajič – Piano
- Tadej Pance – Saxophone
- Aleksander Simionov – Percussion
- Neža Verstovšek – Cello
The final of the Slovenian selection will take place at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet on March 25. The winner will be selected entirely by jury voting.
Eurovision Young Musicians 2020
The 20th installment of Eurovision Young Musicians will take place this year in the Croatian capital of Zagreb. The competition is set to take place on an open-air stage in King Tomislav Square with the grand final on the June 21 2020. This will be the first Eurovision event to be held in an independent Croatia. The Eurovision Song Contest was held in Zagreb in 1990, when Croatia was part of Yugoslavia.

- Norway
- Slovenia
- Sweden
- Ukraine – Returning nation
