UA:PBC has confirmed to Eurovoix that it will be returning to Eurovision Young Musicians having last competed in 2012.
The Ukrainian national broadcaster UA:PBC has confirmed to Eurovoix that it will be competing in this years edition of Eurovision Young Musicians. Ukraine last competed in the competition in 2012, with 2020 marking its third appearance in the competition.
UA:PBC will not be holding a televised selection process for the competition, instead opting to internally select its representative. The broadcaster will create a professional jury that will assess potential representatives for the competition.
Ukraine is the first nation to announce its return to the competition, the last contest in Edinburgh saw a total of seven nations make their return to Eurovision Young Musicians.
Eurovision Young Musicians 2020
The 20th installment of Eurovision Young Musicians will take place next year in the Croatian capital Zagreb. The competition is set to take place on an open-air stage in King Tomislav Square with the grand final on the June 21 2020. This will be the first Eurovision event to be held in an independent Croatia. The Eurovision Song Contest was held in Zagreb in 1990, when Croatia was part of Yugoslavia.

- Czech Republic
- Norway
- Slovenia
- Sweden
- Ukraine – Returning nation
