President Jacek Majchrowski has already stated that he is hesitant for the city to host the competition, should Poland be selected by the European Broadcasting Union to host the 2020 edition. Currently Poland who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019, has stated that they will bid to host next years contest. However the Head of TVP Jacek Kurski, has hinted that the European Broadcasting Union may not support a Polish bid to host for a second year running.
