Rai Gulp saw its largest viewing audience for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest yesterday, since the 2016 contest in Malta.
An average of 42,000 viewers followed the Grand Final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 on Rai Gulp. The number of viewers who followed the contest in Gliwice is up just under 8,000 viewers compared to last years competition in Minsk.
The viewing peak came during the announcement of the online vote with a total of 90,000 viewers. In total 302,000 unique viewers followed the contest live from Poland up over 20,000 viewers over last year.
Italy’s viewing figures in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest:
2014 – 151,000 viewers
2015 – 78,200 viewers
2016 – 50,000 viewers – 0.31% share
2017 – 37,000 viewers – 0.23% share
2018 – 34,300 viewers – 0.21% share
Italy was represented by Marta Viola with the song “La Voce Della Terra” and finished 7th during the show last night in Poland.
