Trystan Ellis-Morris is set to commentate on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 for S4C.
Presenter Trystan Ellis-Morris will be the Welsh language commentator for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Trystan is returning to the commentary booth for a second year running, having commentated on last years contest in Minsk, Belarus.
Stifyn Parri who was one of the judges on the first series of the Welsh selection process, will be providing additional commentary through the Red Button service.
Who is Erin Mai?
Erin was selected to represent Wales at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after winning Chwilio am Seren. The entry itself was internally selected. Erin will sing “Calon yn Curo” (Heart Beating), a song about the moment before going on stage, overcoming nerves and sharing the moment with everyone there. The writers of the song, Sylvia Strand and Jonathan Gregory, both represented Cyprus in Eurovision 2010 as part of Jon Lilygreen and the Islanders.
Wales made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year in Belarus. Wales was represented by Manw and the song “Perta” on stage in Minsk, Belarus. They finished 20th in the final, scoring all of their 28 points from the online vote. Wales scored 0 points from the juries in each of the competing countries, alongside Portugal.
