Ahead of this month’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovoix.com talks to Mila Moskov from North Macedonia, who will sing “Fire”.
How did you react when you found out you would be representing North Macedonia in Junior Eurovision?
The moment when I got the news that I would represent my country, I was actually in a bus going to the beach with my friends on a school vacation. So in the moment I didn’t know how to react, I had a moment of shock and then told everyone that I would be going to Poland.
You sing with a choir called “Little Angels”. What made you get involved in the choir in the first place?
I always wanted to sing and have a career in the music industry so it was kind of a way for me to get experience and get noticed by the locals in my town and to my luck, it worked 🙂
Your song is called “Fire”. What lights the fire inside of you?
The feeling of performing for people. The adrenaline that pumps through your veins, the lights and the screaming crowd. I adore all of it. But the number one thing is the music and singing.
Your have worked with Denis Dimoski, who represented North Macedonia in 2005. Has he given any advice for the contest?
My song was produced by my beloved producer Lazar Cvetkoski and his sister who wrote the lyrics Magdalena Cvetkoska. Denis is my first vocal coach and now my main vocal coach is Ana Durlovski. Denis is a very good friend of mine so he told me to just do what i naturally would do because he says I’m a natural for the music industry. He says I was born to do this, and I will.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Joyful, exotic and workaholic
What are you most looking forward to at Junior Eurovision?
I look forward to meeting all the kids and one of my now bestest friends ever, Eliana Gomez Blanco who will represent Malta. I also am very excited to perform.
Thanks to MKRTV for assisting with interviewing Mila Moskov ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland on November 24.
