Carla has given her first televised performance of her Junior Eurovision entry “Bim Bam Toi”.
Carla took to the stage of Gu’Live to give her first live televised performance of the French entry for Junior Eurovision 2019. Carla was internally selected by France Televisions for Junior Eurovision. “Bim Bam Toi” was written and composed by Barbara Pravi and Igit, and is about a girl who falls in love for the first time.
Carla will be joined on stage by two female backing dancers, Albane and Louella, who are part of Sabrina Lonis’ dance team. Carla will be hoping to follow the success of Angélina who represented France last year in Belarus and finished second.
France recently returned to the contest in 2018 following a 14 year break, and were represented by Angélina and her song “Jamais Sans Toi”. The country finished 2nd overall with 203 points, their best result to date. Prior to last year, they only participated in the 2004 contest in Lillehammer, Norway. Thomas Pontier placed 6th with his song “Si on voulait bien”.
