Tonight Polish broadcaster TVP has revealed the three people that will host this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Ida Nowakowska, Roksana (Roxie) Wegiel and Aleksander Sikora will host the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Gliwice, Poland. The contest was brought to Poland following Roxie Wegiel’s victory at the 2018 contest with her song “Anyone I Want To Be”, however this year she will play the role of host alongside Ida and Aleksander.
Ida has appeared in numerous musicals including Cats and The Phantom of the Opera. She has also been a jury member on “Dance Dance Dance”, and was the host of Bake Off Junior.
Aleksander has appeared on “Questions for Breakfast” multiple times, as well as co-hosting “Summer Route of Two”. Throughout his career, he has reported on many music events around worldwide.
This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place in Gliwice, Poland on Sunday 24th November. A total of 19 countries will take part in the contest, including Kazakhstan and Wales, who made their debuts at last year’s contest. Spain return to the contest for the first time since 2006.
