France has entered the top five of the Betting Odds, moving up seven places in the past two days.
Bilal Hassani from France is now the fifth favourite to win the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The singer who will perform “Roi” in Tel Aviv, had been 12th in the odds just two days ago, but has seen his chance of victory increase rapidly. France’s journey up the odds comes as Italy slips further down the top ten.
Pre-contest favourites; Italy, Switzerland, Iceland and Cyprus have all fallen back with the bookmakers over the past week. Italy had peaked as 3rd favourite before rehearsals, while Switzerland has fallen back five places over the past week. Cyprus has now reached its worst position in the odds since Tamta and her song “Replay” were released.
