Ceska Televize has announced that Libor Bouček will be the nations commentator for the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Libor Bouček will be back in the commentary booth this year for Ceska Televize’s coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest. The television presenter and voice actor will be the commentator for the Czech Republic for a fourth time this year.
Mr Bouček will be known to fans of the Eurovision family of events for his role as host of Eurovision Young Dancers. In 2015 and 2017 he hosted the competition in the Czech Republic. Ceska Televize’s coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest is as follows:

Who are Lake Malawi?
Lake Malawi are a Czech indie-pop band founded by lead singer Albert Černý in 2013. The group consists of Albert as well as Jeroným Šubrt on bass and keys and Antonín Hrabal and Pavel Palát both on drums.
The band was selected to represent the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv after winning Eurovision CZ 2019. They had been chosen after receiving the most amount of votes from a combination of international jury vote, and public vote.

The Czech Republic debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 with the band Kabát and the song “Malá dáma”, they finished last in the semi-final scoring just 1 point from Estonia. The country went on to participate for a further two years before withdrawing from the contest after the 2009 edition in Moscow where Gipsy.cz scored nul points. In 2016 the Czech Republic qualified for their first final, Gabriela Gunčíková finished 25th in the final with the song “I Stand”.
