According to the Croatian Head of Delegation, this years Eurovision Song Contest will see original and new creative solutions not seen before at the contest.
Elizabeth Homsi the Croatian Head of Delegation has spoken about her experience of this years Head of Delegation meeting. When speaking about how Roko’s performance of “The Dream” will be staged in Tel Aviv, she explained:
The production team of Eurovision has an interesting challenge to visualise and revitalise the Croatian entry “The Dream” using the endless technical possibilities of Eurovision.
Given all the opportunities we can hear and see at our delegation’s day-long meetings, I can say that the Eurovision 2019 television show will offer a number of original and creative solutions that we have not been able to see on the Eurovision stage before.
Since the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956, the competition has been a testing ground for the latest technologies in broadcasting. The competition stretched the abilities of technology, bringing Europe together for a live television event across Microwave network across ten nations from Lugano, Switzerland.
The host broadcaster of KAN has not yet announced any of the features of the stage of this years contest. Nor has it announced any new technological innovations that will be used at this years contest.
Tel Aviv will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Centre) on May 14, 16 and 18 2019. After receiving bids from several cities across Israel, the final two remaining candidate cities were Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. KAN recommended Tel Aviv to the Reference Group.
