Snippets of the songs competing in Semi-Final Four of Sweden’s Eurovision selection show has been revealed.
The third Semi-Final of Melodifestivalen 2019 will take place this Saturday night in Lidköping (Sparbanken Arena). Ahead of the show, snippets of the competing songs have been revealed, alongside the lyrics.
The line-up is composed of many former Melodifestivalen participants such as Anton Hagman (2017), Lisa Ajax (2016 and 2017), and John Lundvik (2018).
Ann-Louise Hanson will also take part, having entered the contest thirteen times so far, as well as Arvingarna, who have participated four times and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993.
Competing in the fourth semi-final is:
- Pagan Fury – Stormbringer
- Anton Hagman – Känner dig
- Lisa Ajax – Torn
- Arvingarna – I Do
- Bishara – On My Own
- Ann-Louise Hansson – Kärleken finns kvar
- John Lundvik – Too Late For Love

The final of the event will take place in the Friends Arena, in Stockholm on March 9th, preceded by the Second Chance round (Andra Chansen) in Nyköping on March 2nd. The winner of the contest will go on to represent Sweden in Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has gone on to be one of the contest’s most successful countries. The country has won the contest six times, the most recent being in 2015. Sweden’s first victory came in 1974 when ABBA won the contest in Brighton with “Waterloo”. Since missing out on the final in 2010, Sweden has gone on to finish 3rd twice and has won the contest twice, only in 2013 did the country place outside of the top 10 in the final.
