The Greenlandic broadcaster KNR will be broadcasting the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 live to viewers across the nation.
With the participation of Greenlandic singers Julie & Nina, viewers in Greenland will be able to watch the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 live on KNR. The Greenlandic broadcaster will be airing the contest live from Herning from 16:00 local time.
Furthermore viewers in Greenland will be able to vote for their favourite entries in the competition. Viewers will be able to vote by either SMS or by the DR App. This arrangement has happened before in the years where Faroese singers have taken part in the competition to represent Denmark at Eurovision 2019.
Julie & Nina will be performing “League of Night” in the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix on February 23. They are the first act performing in the Greenlandic language at the competition in over 40 years.
Julie who was born in Denmark but grew up in Greenland is set to take to the DMGP stage according to the report. Julie rose to fame in Denmark after finishing second in the 2002 series of Popstars in Denmark, she has gone on to release five albums, of which two reached No.1.

Herning is set to host the final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix for a fifth time, as Denmark selects for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 on February 23. Herning has proved a successful venue for producing strong results for Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2001, Rollo & King went on to finish 2nd at Eurovision, while 2013 winner Emmelie de Forest won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix when Herning hosted the national final.
