The Head of Delegation for Armenia has stated that plans for Eurovision 2019 will be revealed after the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
Armenia will be revealing more details about their participation in Eurovision 2019 after this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Head of Delegation David Tserunyan explained on Twitter that details regarding their participation and selection will be revealed after November 25.
AMPTV has used Depi Evratesil to select their entrant for the competition. In 2017 the show was used to select their singer, the show saw Artsvik selected by the public, with her song being internally selected. In 2018 the show was expanded to select both the singer and song for Eurovision.
Sevak represented Armenia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. He participated in the first semi-final with his song “Qami”, placing 15th with 79 points.

Armenia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has participated every year since, excluding 2012. Armenia’s best results came in 2008 and 2014 when they finished 4th in the final. They have twice failed to qualify for the final. The first time was in 2011, when Emmy finished in 12th with “Boom Boom”. She was 1 point away from qualifying for the final. In 2018 Sevak finished 15th in his semi-final with “Qami”, bringing Armenia their worst result to date in the contest.
