Tonight Wales will select their first participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the final of Chwilio am Seren taking place.
The final of Chwilio am Seren takes place this evening at the Venue Cymru. After three episodes, countless auditions and performances in front of hundreds, the live final takes place tonight in Llandudno. Six singers are taking to the stage tonight hoping to represent Wales on their Junior Eurovision debut. The finalists are:
- Gracie Jane
- Lauren Mia
- Ella Georgia
The finalists were selected by a panel of mentors consisting of Connie Fisher, Stifyn Parri and Tara Bethan. The final will take place in two parts, during the first part all six singers will perform covers of existing songs. There will be five panels of judges in Aberystwyth, Llandudno, Carmarthen, Cardiff and London who will be judging the first round of performances.
The three singers with the most votes from the five panels will go on to sing ‘Hi yw y Berta’. Once all three of the singers the public televote will open and the audience will be able to vote for their favourite. The singer that receives the most votes from the public will represent Wales on their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
