The revamped and final version of “Ózine sen”, the Kazakh entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk, Belarus has been released today.
The official music video for “Ózińe sen” (Seize the time) has been released this evening. The song now features English lyrics, the lyrics were written by Artyom Kuzmenkov. The Kazakh lyrics were written by Kamilla Dayirova and Daneliya Tuleshova.
he music video for “Ozine sen” was filmed by DPartners and directed by Daut Shaikhislanov. The music video sees Daneliya in the Kazakh steppe and was filmed last week.
Speaking about her song Daneliya explained;
“This song was for teenagers, because it’s at this age that they do not believe in themselves, it’s very motivational, I think it’s very important to believe, and then everything will turn out. You will also be loved by everyone.”
Daneliya won the selection after receiving only 946 televotes in total, three times as many as the public’s second place winner, Maxim Yerzhan, who received 338 votes. Daneliya will represent Kazakhstan at their first ever Eurovision event.
Daneliya has previous experience representing her nation, having won the People’s Choice Awards at the Junior New Wave contest back in 2015 in Crimea when she was 9 years old.
Kazakhstan’s participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is being organised by Khabar Agency. Khabar has been broadcasting the Eurovision Song Contest live to viewers across Kazakhstan since 2010, with a commentary team covering the contest from Astana. Khabar has been an associate member of the European Broadcasting Agency since January 2016.
