The ninth artist to feature in our “Who Is” series for the Junior Eurovision 2018 season is Bojana Radovanovic from Serbia.
Bojana Radovanovic was chosen to represent Serbia at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, Belarus by Serbian broadcaster RTS. Let’s get to know a bit more about her.
Thirteen-year-old Bojana Radovanovic was born on 12th April 2005 in Belgrade, Serbia. The young singer is no stranger to competitions as she took part in Pinkove Zvezdice in 2017, where she reached the superfinal. Earlier this year she released her first single, “Dok ljubav ne osetiš”.
In September, it was announced that Bojana would represent her country in the upcoming contest in Minsk, following a call made by the broadcaster for artists and songs, which were then reviewed by a professional jury. She will be singing “Svet” in Minsk.
Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
