Tonight Belarus will select their entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 which will take place in the nation this November.
Belarus becomes the latest nation to select their singer and song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest tonight. In the city that will host this years competition, ten acts will take to the stage hoping to impress the public and the judges. The winner of tonight’s show will become only the second act to represent Belarus at Junior Eurovision on home soil.
The running order is as follows;

- Daniel Aleks Yastremskiy – Time
- Yelizaveta Meya – Zorka
- Artem Skorol – Ulybnis
- Angelina Yaroshchuk – Feeling Good
- Monkey Tops – Na stile
- Mariya Zhilina – Welcome To My Belarus
- Yaroslav Sokolikov – Mir na zemle
- Nikita Belko – Ne preday
- Mariya Gulevich – Ostrov Chikarum
Hosting the show this evening are Teo and Olga Ryzhikovoy. Teo represented Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, while Olga is a television presenter and the wife of Teo. The two have become the face of Eurovision and Junior Eurovision in the country having hosted the national selections for a number of years.
The winner will be decided by 50% public voting and 50% jury vote. In the event of a tie the jury will vote again on the songs that are tied. In the event of a further tie the Chairman of the jury decides who will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Belarus debuted at the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, and have been present at every contest since. To date, Belarus have won the contest twice – first in 2005 with Ksenia Sitnik and her song “My Vmeste”, which received 149 points, and the second time in 2007 with Alexey Zhigalkovich and his song “S Druz’yami”, which received a total of 137 points. Their worst entry came from Egor Volchek and his song “Spjavajtse So Mnoj” in 2004, which received only 9 points. Belarus have placed in the top 3 a total of 5 times to date.
