Gordon Bonello will be the Director of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk, Belarus as BTRC provides an update on preparations for November.
Gordon Bonello has been revealed by the Belarusian national broadcaster as the Director for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Mr Bonello has been the Director of every edition of the competition since Malta first hosted the competition in 2014. He is currently in Minsk, Belarus as preparations for this years competition continue.
During his visit to Belarus he will be meeting with the team behind the contest at BTRC and talk through the creative plans. Mr Bonello will be acting as a consultant to stage and graphic designers, and before the show he will start working with the delegations to discuss their staging.
The 2018 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Minsk, Belarus after the country won the bidding process before the 2017 contest even began. Olga Salamankha explained that Belarus was selected as the host for next years contest over other bids due to their long-term commitment to the competition.
