American film and television star Will Ferrell who has made a surprise appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, has spoken about his passion for the competition.
Speaking with 20minutes.fr during the rehearsals on Sunday, Will Ferrell who has made a surprise appearance at the contest, spoke about his passion for Eurovision. The actor who rose to fame on Saturday Night Live and went on to star in numerous films including Elf and Anchorman, revealed that he has been watching the competition since 1999.

The actor surprised the assembled press and artists by attending the second rehearsal for Sweden during the weekend. The American film star was spotted on Benjamin Ingrosso’s Instagram story and has since attended the Blue Carpet and Opening Ceremony.
This year isn’t the first time that the actor has attended the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2014 he traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark to watch the final. This year he is attending the contest as part of the Swedish delegation and has been given access to follow the show from start to finish including rehearsals.
