AISEL’s “X My Heart,” Azerbaijan’s song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, has been released.
“X My Heart” was released at midnight tonight, March 4, as was revealed earlier this week. The song, which is completely in English, is now available on streaming services such as Spotify and Amazon. Blind polling ahead of the song’s release gave the song an 87% positive rating.
Last week, it was reported that AISEL’s Eurovision entry is being produced by the “Dream Team”, composed of Philip Kirkorov, pop singer and the 1995 Eurovision contestant from Russia, as well as choreographer Ilias Kokotos, and composer Dimitris Kontopoulos.
AISEL, who hails from Baku, attended the Bulbul School of Music from 1995 to 2006, and the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, a higher music school, until 2010.
