Irol will no longer be singing “Who We Are” with Jessika in the 1in360 competition.
It has been reported by the 1in360 company that Irol won’t be singing “Who We Are” with Jessika at the 1in360 show. 1in360 released a statement on their Twitter account, stating that the reason he won’t perform “Who We Are” is because the song was too “poppy” for him. He will still be performing in the competition, however, with his song “Sorry”. They also revealed that the replacement candidate will be revealed at 8pm CET tonight, as they release the studio versions of all the competing songs.

Over 9 years of participation San Marino have only once qualified for the Eurovision final when Valentina Monetta represented the country with “Maybe (Forse)” in Copenhagen. She finished in 24th place with 14 points, San Marino’s best result to date. This year Valentina represented her country for the 4th time, this time joined on stage by American singer Jimmie Wilson. The pair’s entry “Spirit of the Night” finished in last place in its semi-final in Kyiv, scoring just 1 point.
