Sofia Rol will announce the results of the Ukrainian jury vote at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Sofia Rol has been revealed as the Ukrainian spokesperson at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Sofia represented Ukraine at last years contest in Malta, performing the song “Planet Craves For Love”. At the contest in Malta she finished 14th with a total of 30 points.
Anastasiya Baginska will represent Ukraine at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her song “Don’t Stop” is sung in both Ukrainian and English.
Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place in the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Ukraine debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has competed in the contest ever since. To date Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012 Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song “Nebo”, she scored 138 points including eight sets of 12 points. Ukraine has hosted the contest twice, the first time being in 2009 and the second being in 2013 following their victory in Amsterdam.
