Timur Miroshnychenko will commentate on the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017, making him the most experienced commentator in the contests history.
Timur Miroshnychenko is set to commentate on his tenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this weekend. Timur who was the Green Room host at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 this year in Kyiv, will return as the voice of Eurovision this weekend in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Timur has commentated started commentating on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 when Ukraine made its debut. He has commentated on the show annually, excluding the two years when he hosted the competition in 2009 and 2013.
Anastasiya Baginska will represent Ukraine at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her song “Don’t Stop” is sung in both Ukrainian and English.
Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place in the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. The sixteen countries taking part are:

Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Ukraine debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has competed in the contest ever since. To date Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012 Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song “Nebo”, she scored 138 points including eight sets of 12 points. Ukraine has hosted the contest twice, the first time being in 2009 and the second being in 2013 following their victory in Amsterdam.
