Laura Carusino and Mario Acampa have been revealed as the Italian commentators for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Once again, Italy’s commentary at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be provided will be provided by a duo of presenters. Laura Carusino returns for a second year running to guide viewers on RAI Gulp through the biggest televised contest for young performers in Europe.
In contrast Mario Acampa will not only be commentating on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the very first time, but also watching the show for the first time. Mario Acampa is known as an actor and and performer, in recent years he has presented a number of shows on RAI Gulp. Mario has been researching about the singers and the songs competing in the contest closely.
RAI Gulp’s coverage of Junior Eurovision 2017 kicks off at 15:30 CET, with a half hour preview show before going live from Tbilisi, Georgia.
Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. The sixteen countries taking part are:
- FYR Macedonia
- The Netherlands
