Evgeny Perlin has been announced as the Belarusian commentator for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Evgeny Perlin has been revealed as the commentator for Belarus’ coverage of the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia. Mr Perlin will be providing commentary at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time this year, becoming only the fifth individual to commentate at the contest for Belarus.
Mr Perlin has been the Belarusian commentator at the Eurovision Song Contest since 2013 and is the voice of Eurovision in the country. He has taken part in a number of Belarusian selection shows as the Green Room host as well.
Coverage of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 is being provided live via Belarus 1 and Belarus 24.
Sixteen countries will take part in the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year, including returning country Portugal, who haven’t participated since 2007. The contest will take place at the Olympic Palace in Tbilisi, Georgia on Sunday 26th November 2017 at 16:00 – 18:00 CET. This is the first time Georgia has hosted any Eurovision event. The sixteen countries taking part are:
