Martina Bárta who represented the Czech Republic at Eurovision 2017, will be one of five celebrities taking part in the next episode of Pevnost Boyard.
Martina Bárta has revealed that she will be taking part in the next episode of the second series of Pevnost Boyard. Pevnost Boyard which is the Czech version of Fort Boyard is broadcast on TV Prima and is hosted by Libor Bouček, the show features celebrities from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest will recognise Libor Bouček as the current Czech commentator at the contest, as well as the host of Eurovision Young Dancers 2015 in Plzen.
This year Martina Bárta represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest. The relatively unknown singer was internally selected by CT to represent her country in Ukraine. She finished 13th in the first semi-final scoring a total of 83 points with the song “My Turn”. Had it be decided by the jury only the Czech Republic would have qualified in 7th place with 81 points, however Martina finished last on the televote with 2 points.
Pevnost Boyard will be broadcast on September 29.

The Czech Republic debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 with the band Kabát and the song “Malá dáma”, they finished last in the semi-final scoring just 1 point from Estonia. The country went on to participate for a further two years before withdrawing from the contest after the 2009 edition in Moscow where Gipsy.cz scored nul points. In 2016 the Czech Republic qualified for their first final, Gabriela Guncikova finished 25th in the final with the song “I Stand”.
