Ukrainian media has reported that former Eurovision winner Ruslana is set to perform two new singles at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, next week in Kyiv, Ukraine.
It had previously been reported that Ruslana will perform in the opening of Final show last month. Ukrainian news outlet, Novyny is now reporting that she will perform her two new singles ‘It’s Magical’ and ‘Я Люблю’.
In preparation for the contest, Ruslana has previously talked about her favourites in this year’s contest.
Ruslana won the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with the song “Wild Dances”. Since winning the contest in Istanbul, Turkey the 43-year-old singer has gone on to be named a People’s Artist of Ukraine, serve as a Member of Parliament and named the most successful Ukrainian artist internationally of all time.
At the Eurovision Song Contest “Wild Dances” scored at the time a record-breaking 280 points, receiving points from every country excluding Switzerland. The song charted across Europe reaching the top.10 in Sweden and the Czech Republic, while reaching number 1 in Ukraine, Belgium and Greece.
