Last night Lucie Jones, the United Kingdom’s entrant in Eurovision 2017 performed on The Graham Norton Show.
Lucie Jones was the musical guest on last nights Graham Norton show on BBC One. In what has become tradition since Graham Norton took over as the commentator for the United Kingdom, this years Eurovision entrant from the United Kingdom took to the stage as the musical guest. Lucie much like her national final performance was alone on stage, watch her performance below:

After winning the national selection ‘Eurovision: You Decide’ this winter with the song ‘Never Give Up on You’, Lucie will represent the United Kingdom with a song written by Eurovision Song Contest 2013 winner, Denmark’s Emmelie De Forest. The song has been changed since the selection process in January, with the final version having been produced in Sweden.
Lucie was born in Wales and first rose to fame as a participant in the X Factor, after participating in the show she has gone on to take to the stage. She is currently touring as part of the show, Rent. However, it was revealed earlier this week she will taking over the lead role in Legally Blonde in its UK and Ireland tour in the autumn.

The United Kingdom debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 and holds the record for the most consecutive appearances in the contest. To date the UK has won the contest a total of five times, the first victory coming in 1967 and the latest in 1997. The UK holds the record for the most second place finishes in the contest, having been runner-up a total of 15 times. Since 2000 the UK has finished within the top.10 only twice, this being in 2002 and in 2009 with Jade Ewen.
