Nathan Trent has launched the #RunningOnAirChallenge for his fans, as the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 draws closer.
The #RunningOnAirChallenge is simple, post your interpretation of the song “Running On Air”, the more creative the better. The winners of the challenge will receive an autograph, signed CD and a personal message from Nathan Trent. It has not been stated whether the challenge explicitly applies to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook or when the cut off date is for the challenge.
Nathan Trent was announced as the Austrian entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 on December 19th having been internally selected by the Austrian national broadcaster ORF. He is the first singer to be internally selected to represent Austria at the contest since 2014 when ORF selected Conchita Wurst and “Rise Like A Phoenix”.
He started writing his first songs when he was only eleven years old. After spending more than a decade acquiring new skills, he finally could concentrate on putting his songwriting to the next level. Years of experience with various music programs contributed to the development of producing and finding his personal style and the ability to fully express himself as an artist. Today he writes, composes, arranges and produces his own music.
In June 2016 Nathan released his debut single “Like It Is“. Shortly after the song was released Eberhard Forcher got in touch with him and ask him to be one of the contestants in the Austrian internal preliminaries.
