Tonight the last semi final in Ireland’s selection process for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Malta is being held.

Today in the fourth and final semi final in Junior Eurovision Éire 2016 is being broadcast on TG4. Eight more singers are taking to the stage hoping it will be them making it through to the final next week. The special guest judge who will be joining the show tonight has not been revealed, however it will be either Linda Martin Eurovision 1992 winner or Niamh Kavanagh Eurovision 1993 winner. Also on the jury are  Fiachna O Braonain and Pauline Scanlon.

In the show tonight are:

  • Stephanie Byrne from Naas, Co. Kildare
  • Amy McGrath from Ballina, Co. Mayo
  • Danny McGahey from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
  • Lucy Hood from Ballyroan, Co. Laois
  • Eva Kavanagh from Hacketstown, Co. Carlow
  • Arabella Dolan from Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin
  • Aisli Moran & Jennifer Nelson from Dublin
  • Lasairfhíona de Brún from Cork

Two singers will be selected by the jury to go through to the final duel, with the winner of the final duel going through to the final.
