Malta: Reveals Christina Magrin’s Song For Junior Eurovision 2016

Malta has this evening revealed “Parachute” the song that Christina Magrin will be performing at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

Christina Magrin will be performing “Parachute” for Malta at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. “Parachute” has been composed Florent Boshnjaku and written by Matt ‘Muxu’ Mercieca. Florent Boshnjaku composed Albania’s Eurovision 2012 entry, while Muxu has written the past three Maltese Junior Eurovision entries. The song was officially revealed this evening for the first time.

Malta are hosting this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest having won Junior Eurovision for the second time last year in Sofia. Destiny Chukunyere won over the hearts of Europe with her uplifting song “Not My Soul”. This years contest comes two years after Malta first hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Why does everyone slate uptempo entries yet when a ballad comes along everyone is like this is amazing… most of the ballads this year are forgettable, yeah they have great vocals but they’re mediocre and forgettable, Russia and Ukraine are probably the only strong competent ballads, and Australia is kinda a ballad too.

  2. Italy, Georgia, Albania and Poland are just nice entries but nothing more than just nice we have seen so much stronger ballads in comparison in junior Eurovision.
