Christina Magrin will represent Malta on home soil in this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Parachute”.
This afternoon it has been revealed that Christina Magrin will be performing “Parachute” for Malta at this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. “Parachute” has been composed Florent Boshnjaku and written by Matt ‘Muxu’ Mercieca. The song and its official music video will be revealed to the public for the first time on Thursday from 20:00 CET on the TVM Evening News.
Christina was selected in July from 20 singers to represent Malta on home soil this year. She performed a cover of “No More Tears” receiving the highest votes from the public and jury. The young singer had taken part in the countries selection for the 2015 contest as well.
Malta are hosting this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest having won Junior Eurovision for the second time last year in Sofia. Destiny Chukunyere won over the hearts of Europe with her uplifting song “Not My Soul”. This years contest comes two years after Malta first hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
