TVM the host broadcaster of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 has revealed the stage design for this years contest.
The 14th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is being hosted at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta. The MCC is being transformed for this years contest, with the main hall turned into a state of the art television studio. As the image above shows, the stage will be surrounded by fans from across Europe attending the contest.
The stage according to TVM has been designed so that:
Will be energetic and modern but still retain the hall’s characteristics.
Unlike what has been seen at recent Junior Eurovision’s and Eurovision Song Contests the green room will not be located in the same space as the stage. Instead the green room will be located in “The Infirmary”. The delegations and 17 competing countries will be joined in the green room by a live audience, similar to that of Eurovision 2013.
