Serbia: Confirmation of their Eurovision 2017 participation

Today it has been confirmed that Serbia will participate in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Kyiv next May.

Serbia is the latest country to confirm their participation in the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, Ukraine. Next year will mark 10 years since the country debuted in the contest and their first victory with “Molitva”. No details have yet been made about how the country will be selecting their singer or song for Kyiv.

Moldova and San Marino are yet to publicly state whether they will be participating in the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. While Russia has shown an interest in participating next year in Kyiv but has yet to officially confirm their participation. It is also not yet known if Australia will be making a third appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest next year in Ukraine.

Serbia were represented by Sanja Vučić ZAA at this year’s competition in Stockholm and placed 18th with 115 points in the Grand Final.

    1. Not until their political situation with Israel is resolved OR Israel withdraws from Eurovision. Same with Algiers, Tunis, Libya, Syria and Lebanon…
