Tonight Belarus will select their participant for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Malta this November.
10 singers from across Belarus will be competing in the selection live from the Belarussian Capital, Minsk tonight. Belarus will be selecting their 14th participant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with it being just one of two countries to have participated in every edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. A total of 45 songs were submitted to compete in this years selection process.
The winner of the selection will be decided by 50% televote and 50% jury voting. The jury is made up of music professionals. In the event of a tie the winner is the performer who receives more points from the jury, this is what happened in the 2014 Junior Eurovision selection in Belarus.
The running order for the show is as follows:

- Stefaniya Sokolova – Color Game (Tsventnaya Igra)

- Mariya Zhilina – Vpripryzhku
- Zinaida Kupriyanovich – Kosmos
- Olga Konovalova – Serdtsa Bit
- Alexander Minyonok – Muzyka Tvoikh Pobed

Belarus participated in the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003, and along with the Netherlands is the only country to compete in every contest. Belarus has won the contest on two ocassions, the first in 2005 and the most recent in 2007. In 2010 the contest made its way to Belarus, with the show being held in Minsk at the Minsk Arena. Last year Ruslan Aslanov finished 4th in the contest for Belarus, 7 points behind third placed Slovenia.
