Today is the day when we will find out which city in Ukraine will be hosting the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
After launching a selection process for the host city of next years contest, over two months ago, today we find out where Europe will be heading to perform and compete next May. In the end a total of six cities decided to bid to host Eurovision 2017 they were:
Now we are down to the final three cities who are all hoping that this afternoon it will be them revealed as the host city. Three cities and their planned venues are as follows:
- Dnipro – DniproEuroArena – 9,500 capacity
- Kyiv – International Exhibition Center – 10,000-13,000 capacity
- Odessa – Choronomorets Stadium – 10,000-12,000 capacity
The host city announcement will be broadcast live by the Ukrainian national broadcaster NTU from 14:00 CET.
