Russia has selected Sofia Fisenko to represent them at the 14th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta.
14 year old Sofia will be performing “Zhivaya Voda” (Living water) in Malta this November. The singer scored the maximum 36 points available from both the judges and the online voting public. Sofia Fisenko first emerged into the Russian music world having competed in the first series of “The Voice Kids”. Sofia was part of Maxim Fadeev’s team, who eventually won the series with the 2014 Junior Eurovision participant Alisa Kozhikina. Sofia is now the third singer in a row to have competed in “The Voice Kids” to go on to represent Russia at Junior Eurovision
A total of 16 performers took to the stage in Crimea all hoping to represent Russia in Malta. The performers came from Moscow, Kazan, Krasnodar, Novomoskovsk, Orenburg, Moscow Region, Vladivostok, Novokuibyshevsk, Kolomna, Novy Urengoy, Ryazan and Novosibirsk.
