Russia will select their participant for Junior Eurovision 2016 on August 15 in Crimea.
Russia is holding an open selection process to find their singer and song for this years Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Submissions are open from May 30 to July 15, after which point an audition round will be held in Moscow on July 20. The participants selected at the audition will compete in Artek, Crimea on August 15.
The winner of the Russian selection will be decided by internet voting and professional jury voting. To take part in the contest songs must not have been released before May 1, songs must be at least 2 minutes and 50 seconds long, songs may also include up to 25% English. Singers must be at least 9 years old by the Junior Eurovision final on November 20, they must also not be older than 14 years.
