The Head of Delegation for San Marino has confirmed that they have no idea which countries votes were used to decide their televote.
San Marino RTV has confirmed that the EBU has not informed them which countries were used to decide their televote at this years contest. San Marino is the only country in the contest that does not provide a televote of their own, this is due to the nation not having an independent telephone system. Instead, with the new voting method being introduced this year, it was announced by the EBU that the San Marinese televote would be decided by using 5-6 countries televotes and averaging it.
It was confirmed to Eurovisionary.com that the EBU would not be publicly revealing which countries were used to decide the San Marinese vote stating:
The Reference Group have decided not to make this specific list of countries public in order to protect the integrity of the televoting.
Alessandro Capicchioni the Head of Delegation for San Marino informed Eurofestivalnews.com that they are working to propose a new system which they view as being fairer. In the run up to this years contest in Stockholm, San Marino had publicly complained that they were not consulted on the new system.
