Norway will win next year
Norway “will win next year”

The Head of Delegation for Norway has confirmed the country will be competing in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

The Head of Delegation Jan Fredrik Karlsen said that they were disappointed to have not made the final this year but plan to come back again next year and win the contest in Ukraine. He told VG regarding the delegations time in Stockholm that:

It has been an incredibly eventful week, and for me – for the first time – it’s great to experience the whole Eurovision circus, I love the such big events. It’s like being on the loose in a sweet store for me. But having said that, I see now that there can be a distinct advantage to be visible and clear in this circus – that there had been an advantage to show off. It is an experience I have done. But I emphasize that this is not meant as a criticism of anyone. Here all done a great job, both Agnete and NRK.

Norway failed to qualify for the final for the first time 2011, Agnete finished in 13th place in the second semi final on 68 points.
